Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church
50 London Hill
Essex SS6 7HP
There are many ways that the children can get involved within the Parish. Children are encouraged to participate in order to nurture and strengthen their Catholic faith as they grow older. Membership of the Guides Association and Scout Movement also allows opportunity to meet youngsters with different religious and cultural backgrounds.
Children’s Art Club
The Art Club meets on Tuesdays during term time from 5:15pm in the Bethany Room at Our Lady of Ransom Church. Children are invited to come and have fun and make something unique to take home. Old clothes or an old shirt should be worn for paint protection. A charge of £1.50 per child is made to cover costs.
The Children’s Liturgy is held weekly during the Sunday morning 10:00am Mass. The children are invited by Father to congregate at the altar and then leave the main church for about 20 minutes to hear the Word of God in a way which has been specially prepared for young people. The three children’s liturgy groups are split by age with each group being led on a rota basis by one of the team.
Please contact Maria Newby, tel. no. 01268 655955, if you would like more information.

Sessions are run during term time only, every day except for Thursday. Full details of sessions times and prices can be found on the Pre-School website www.olorps.org
The Pre-School is a charity and as such relies heavily on fundraising and donations. The Pre-School is also run by a committee and we are always welcome to receiving new members.
